COMMISSION COMMENTS:

Don Spencer commented that the Rails to Trails should start to be recognized as a means of transportation rather than just for recreational use.

Buffy stated that the Rail Trail should not be considered just for transportation, it should remain recreational too.

Don Spencer brought up issue with new development on Burroughs’ Street.  The stop sign required at the exit of this private development is not aesthetically pleasing.  Can we put a Stop Line with the word STOP at it?

Roy stated that we had never discussed this issue. Roy asked where the requirement came from.

Terry stated that this was an Engineering requirement through the MUTCD, every private development has to meet MUTCD Requirements.  A Stop Bar will not be acceptable alone.
