TRAFFIC COMMISSION MEETING

WEDNESDAY, December 4, 2008

Voting Members Present: Don Spencer, Paul Steel, Roy Nutter, Chris Gluck, Betty McClain, Tony Barill, Dennis Bidwell, Ken Martis

Non-Voting Members Present: Terry Hough, Lt. Mike Lantz, Damien Davis

Members Absent: Peter Schuster, Graham Kenneweg

MATTER OF BUSINESS:

Roy Nutter Called to order 6:30

BICYCLE BOARD:

Frank G. presented the Bicycle Board report.

Frank G. recommended two new members to the Bicycle Board, Janel Bedard and Paul Becker. Don Spencer mad a motion to appoint Janel and Paul to the Bicycle Board. Ken Martis Seconded the Motion. Motion Passed Unanimously.

Pedestrian Safety Board:

Dr. Gabrial Nardi, 412 Grand Street, presented a proposal for lighting in South Park for Pedestrian and Bicycle safety.

Bill Regernash, 304 Dream Catcher Circle, presented the pedestrian safety plan for City of Morgantown. Several other members of the Pedestrian Safety Board presented parts of the pedestrian safety plan.

Traffic Calming Sub-Committee:

Several reports have been presented to the local Neighborhood Associations.
