PLANNING DEPARTMENT
Welcome to the Office of the City Planner. The Planning Department currently consists of a Director of Planning, and a Deputy Director. The Planning Office is located on the second floor of City Hall in Room 12. Regular business hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
The Office is normally closed from 12:00 noon until 1:00 P.M. Voice mail is always available at the number listed above.
The City Planning Office provides staff support for several of the City's boards and commissions which meet throughout the month. Normal meeting schedules are:
- Planning Commission - meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm
- Board of Zoning Appeals - meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm
- Technical Review - meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 10:00 am.
- Design Review Committee - meets 4th Wednesday of each month at 5:00 pm
All meetings are held in City Council Chambers, on the second floor of City Hall or Engineering Conf. Room.

The Planning Office provides information to the public on a variety
of zoning-related issues and reviews all sub-divisions, lot splits, and
major development plans.
