SPECIAL MEETING SEPTEMBER 5, 2000:

The special meeting of the Common Council of the City of Morgantown was held in the Council Chambers on Tuesday, September 5, 2000, at 6:30 p.m.

PRESENT:

Mayor Frank Scafella, City Manager Dan Boroff, City Clerk Linda L. Little, Jeff Mikorski, Assistant to the City Manager and Council Members Frank Salucci, Tom Bloom, Teresa Miller, Ronald Justice, Bill Byrne, Betty McClain.

The meeting was called to order by the Mayor.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:

Interviews for Board of Zoning Appeals:

The following candidates were interviewed for the one vacant position on the Board of Zoning Appeals:

Thomas R. Shamberger, William D. Harman, Frank Ferrell, Jim Prete

EXECUTIVE SESSION:

Councilor Bloom moved by acclamation to go into an executive session pursuant to Section 6-9A-4-6 of the West Virginia Code in order to discuss personnel matters with the following persons present: Mayor Frank Scafella and Council members. Time 7:30 p.m.

ADJOURNMENT:

Motion by Byrne, second by Miller to go back into Regular Session, and there being no further business Council immediately adjourned. Time 7:40 p.m.
