SPECIAL MEETING JANUARY 30, 2001:

The special meeting of the Common Council of the City of Morgantown was held in the Council Chambers on Tuesday, January 30, 2001, at 6:40 p.m.

PRESENT:

City Manager Dan Boroff, City Clerk Linda L. Little, Jeff Mikorski, Assistant to the City Manager, Deputy Mayor Ron Justice and Council Members Frank Salucci, Teresa Miller, Betty McClain. ( Mayor Scafella and Councilor Byrne Late, Tom Bloom resigned effective 1-24-01)

The meeting was called to order by the Deputy Mayor.

NEW BUSINESS:

CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF A RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND THE APPLICATION FOR RECREATIONAL TRAILS PROGRAM GRANT FUNDING FOR CONSTRUCTION OF TRAILS AND URBAN LINKAGES TO CONNECT TO EXISTING TRAILS IN WHITE PARK IN THE AMOUNT OF $100,000: The above entitled Resolution was presented for Council's approval:

After discussion, motion by Salucci, second by McClain to approve the above application for Recreational Trails Grant funding for construction of trails in White Park. Motion carried 4-0. (Mayor Scafella & Councilor Byrne Late, Tom Bloom resigned effective 1-24-01)
