I miss Morgantown. I still remember my childhood at Snider St. and Forest Ave. I was in the 1st grade (1983) when I left Morgantown to Indonesia. Now I'm 23 years old, and I'm glad to see through my computer that Morgantown is still beautiful.

Well, I must say as a native Morgantown-tionian I am delighted with our City's website. I stubbled here in my web search to find photos etc. to decorate my office door. Why you ask do I want to decorate my office door? Ah, to encourage the students in my current elementary school to 'keep on with education'. That's in quotes because I feel it's vital to 'keep on'.....so speaks the cold miner's daughter who would encourage all children to seek to learn. Just wanted those of you who have made the effort involved in this web site to hear that it is appreciated. I shall be utilizing materials you have provided for our school's March door decoration. A means of telling our students about the faculity's secondary education. I could not tell about WVU without sharing about Morgantown. If I were not fortunate enough to have been born and raised in Morgantown it is most likely that I would not be able to call myself a Mountaineer Alumni. So thank you for all that you've shared on this hometown website. |

I attendend WVU as both an undergraduate and as a medical student. Since, I have completed a 4 year residency in the combined practice of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Morgantown was a great place to obtain an education and to spend my young adult years. Soon, I will be returning to raise a family and join the Wedgewood Family Practice Group. I look forward to returning home! |
