born in Morgantown in 1938. My Aunts & Uncle went to school with Don Knotts & the Knott's home was
just a few blocks from my Grandmother's house at 217 Green Street. My Dad graduated from WVU in
1938 & he & I visited some of the University Staff a few years ago. He lives in Greensboro,NC
& must be one of the oldest living Alumni (Class of 1938). |

Nice site but you should have links to lodging, area attractions, upcoming events, annual events and shopping. This would be a good place to promote the assets of North Central West Virginia.

Love the town and have been a lifelong WVU fan. I just hope what I witnessed and experienced in Pittsburgh yesterday [Pitt vs. WVU Game on 11/25/00] is never reinacted in Morgantown. My daughter is a student and my only complaint is the limited amount of parking. I come down quite often and always enjoy my visits. |
