If you are interested in running for a position on City Council,
Morgantown residents who are eligible to vote can obtain a packet containing
the appropriate filing forms and information at the City Clerk’s office at 389
Spruce Street, Room 10,Morgantown, West Virginia or by calling 284-7439, or
e-mail the City Clerk at cityclerk@morgantown.com.
Write-in Candidates are required to file a certificate of
announcement at least 42days before the election in order to have their votes
counted.
Certificates of Announcement must be filed in the City Clerk’s office between January 3, 2011 and February 14, 2011. ( If mailed must be postmarked no later than February 14, 2011).
