Welcome to the Office of the City Clerk. The City Clerk's office is staffed by the City Clerk and Deputy Clerk. The City Clerk's office reports to the City Manager and serves the administrative to City Council. The City Clerk's office is located on the third floor of City Hall in Room 10. Regular Business hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. City Council has Regular Meetings on the First and Third Tuesdays of every month at 7:30 p.m. in the City Hall, Council Chambers, 389 Spruce Street Morgantown, WV. City Council has Committee of the Whole meetings on the last Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in City Hall, Council Chambers. All Meetings are broadcast live on Channel 15, and replays can be seen the following day and weekend after the meeting. The City Clerk is the Record Keeper of Council Meetings and the Minutes, Ordinances, Deeds, Resolutions and History of the City. The City Clerk is the City's election official for City Council elections, every April in odd years. The Clerk's office also serves as secretary to the Police and Fire Civil Service Commissions
