Celebrating its 10th anniversary the Mountaineer Boys and Girls Club has accomplished a lot in a decade. The club first opened its doors to the Morgantown Community in March of 1998 and since has provided an inspiring learning environment for over 900 area youth. A member of the Boys & Girls of America the organization is seeing its greatest growth. The agency is currently serving some 4.8 Million deserving youth, in over 4000 clubs in all 50 states, U.S. territories and international military bases.

 

The Mission of the Mountaineer Boys and Girls Club is to,

 

            “… inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential as productive responsible and caring citizens.”

 

The Mountaineer Boys and Girls Club does a great job, offering an array of programs of which include character development and core programs. With programs such as the Health and Life Skills, Education and Career Development invaluable lessons are learned by the youth that attend.
