The City of Morgantown will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, March 26 at 1:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of City Hall, located at 389 Spruce Street, Morgantown, WV. This hearing is intended to provide an opportunity for interested parties to provide comments and review the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) 2009-2014 Consolidated Plan and the 2009 Action Plan.
The City is an entitlement community and expects to expend $2,715,000 in CDBG funding from HUD in fiscal years 2009 through 2014. It is anticipated the City will receive $543,242 in grant funding for FY 2009, with 15% $81,486 to be used for Public Service, 20% $108,648 to be used for Administration and Planning and 65% $353,107 to be used for Infrastructure and Rehabilitation.
