Morgantown celebrated Arbor Day on September 19, 2009 at the Spruce Street Farmer's Market. Morgantown Deputy-Mayor Don Spencer provided an Arbor Day proclamation to Morgantown Tree Board chair by Anne Cumming. The City received the 13th Tree City USA declaration, and two trees were planted on Walnut Street as a part of Arbor Day this year.
